Today’s reflection: Trust God with Your next Step
Sometimes we want to see the whole road before we move forward. We want to know what will happen, whether our plans will succeed and how every difficulty will be resolved. Yet faith often asks us to take the next step with God, even when we cannot see the entire journey.
However, Proverbs 3:5–6 encourages us to trust in the Lord and acknowledge Him in our paths. However, this does not mean we stop thinking carefully or making responsible choices but it means we invite God into our decisions and remain open to His direction.
Today, consider one area where you feel uncertain, write it down, pray about it and identify one sensible next step. That next step may be making a phone call, asking for advice, setting aside time to rest or simply choosing not to give up.
The daily Christian devotion does not need to be long to help you pause and reconnect with God. A few quiet minutes with Scripture and an honest prayer can help you approach the day with greater peace and purpose.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being with me today. Help me trust You with what I cannot control and show me the next step I can take. Give me patience, wisdom and a heart that remains open to Your guidance. Amen.
For reflection: What is one next step you can take today while trusting God with the rest?
