Waiting is one of the hardest parts of the Christian journey. We pray, we hope, we plan — yet sometimes God asks us to wait longer than we expected. In those moments, it’s easy to feel discouraged or forgotten. But the truth is this: God’s timing is never late, never early, and always perfect.
We often want answers right now. We want clarity, direction, and breakthrough the moment we ask for it. But God sees the entire picture — past, present, and future — and He knows exactly when the right moment will come.
Sometimes God delays something because He is preparing us and sometimes He delays because He is protecting us. Sometimes He delays because the blessing is not ready yet. And sometimes He delays because we are not ready yet.
God’s timing is perfect because He knows what we do not know. He sees what we cannot see. He understands what we cannot understand. What feels like a delay to us is often divine preparation.
Think about the moments in your life when something didn’t happen when you wanted — but later, you realized it happened at the exact right time. That is God’s timing. He aligns events, opportunities, and people in ways we could never arrange ourselves.
When we trust His timing, we stop forcing things. We stop worrying. We stop comparing our journey to others. Instead, we rest in the truth that God is working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see it.
My scripture is “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11
Think of one thing you’ve been waiting for — a breakthrough, an answer, a change, or a blessing. Write it down and pray: “Lord, I trust Your timing. Prepare me for what You have prepared for me.” Release the pressure of “when,” and let God handle the timing.
God is never late. He is never early. He is always right on time. Even when the waiting feels long, He is shaping your story with purpose. Trust Him — because His timing is perfect, and His plan is worth the wait.
